I received a warning letter from Google Adsense yesterday, and being warned for invalid clicks made to Google Adsense account on my blog!

I was shocked to received the email, the subjet was “Google Adsense Account Status”. My first impression was is Google Adsense giving me extra facilities because my account is generating money? No way! It was a warning email from them.

It has come to our attention that invalid clicks have been generated on your Google ads, posing a financial risk to our AdWords advertisers.

Please note that any activity that may artificially inflate an advertiser’s costs or a publisher’s earnings is strictly prohibited by our program policies.

We understand that you may want more information about the activity we detected. However, because we have a need to protect our proprietary detection systems, we’re unable to provide our publishers with any details about their account activity, including any web pages or users that may have been involved. Thank you for your understanding.

I guess I must stop clicking on those “interesting ads” on my blog from now. Some of the ads like make money, how to get rich by making business online sound very interesting sometime, but it’s quite risky to click on those ads though!
