Model Shooting In Putrajaya Precinct 1

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

Announcement Thanks to Flikteoh.com for making a special theme for Gabriel Lai dot Com blog. Hope you guys love the theme made by FlikTeoh. He has been a tremendous help throughout the development as well as the bugs fixing of this theme. Thanks once again!!

Last Saturday we did a Model Shoot in Putrajaya Precinct 1. If you know well about Putrajaya, one of the happening tourist spot in Putrajaya is Precinct 1, where you can enjoy the Prime Minister Office, the flags & water fountain, the river lake as well as the red mosque. If you spend a little more time to round around Putrajaya, you’ll be able to see a few beautiful bridges there as well. One of the bridge I took last year is here.

Oh ya, I did a shoot alone in Putrajaya last year, where you can see here & here as well.

Monday, April 20th, 2009

Few weeks back, I went to Pudu Plaza, and had the chance to test out the superb lens – Sony 70-200mm f2.8 G lens. No joke, this lens is super fast and comparing with Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 HSM lens, I still prefer the Sony one. But the price is damm too expensive for me to buy.. arrgghh!!!!

Studio Lightings Product Shoot – Nikon D60 + Sigma Lens

Thursday, April 16th, 2009

Somewhere in March 09, I tested shooting product with 3 basic studio lightings surrounding the object. The object used to be shoot was the Nikon D60 with Sigma 70-300mm APO lens. Well, this was my first time testing with studio lightings. It was a fun time playing with the lights, but it’s pretty hard to control the light source, as well as the camera settings.
