Recorded this video for fun and I was using my Canon IXUS 80IS camera only. Love the quality & sound came out of it.. it’s clear & sharp with point & shoot camera. Enjoy the video and you can check out the Sakai Music Group Here!

We had a heavy dinner with my dad’s friend at Kangar. We ate at Kuala Perlis, where we can take the ferry to Langkawi, the beautiful island in Malaysia. of course, we just had dinner and not taking the ferry. I love the kids, they are super cute and nice… when I took out my heavy camera, they started to stick around with me and we keep shooting & shooting together. Uncle was my dad’s long long time friend, when my dad was still in Kedah. I wrote about my first day at Kangar here… Friends / relatives must be connected always, else we will lost contact to each other when time passes by.. if my dad did not ask me to visit uncle, we might have not much chance having the time to chit chat together and dinner together.. Photos are a lot, spamming time :D Enjoy!!

I went to Putrajaya to do a profile shoot for Yvonne. It was a pretty tiring day as we started quite early, around 12pm and we ended around 7pm in the evening. I quite like some of the photos and I thought would like to share with you. I uses only one light for the entire shoot, either with 1/1 power, and some at 1/32 to make certain effect as well as a fill-in flash. Remember always to keep thing simple and easy, results will be awesome. Hope you light this set of photos and enjoy! Contact me if you would like to hire me for any events! Cheers, Gabriel

Glory Food Corner blog is fitted with a basic design from Wordpress. I love building webpages with Wordpress because of its powerful + stability engine and it’s easy to use. The blog comes with 4 pages and they are the Main Page, Our Dishes where I put up some photos that I’ve photographed, Customers Feedback where it’s a guest book or comment page for the customers to say some words and Locate Us where you can find us, complete with Google Maps too :)

Dad’s shop fully painted with blue color, he loves blue color a lot, thus most of the section are completed with blue color. By default, the header is a light blueish header, but I changed it to match the restaurant’s color. Some of the dishes that I’ve photographed long time ago.. Check out Our Dishes section to find out more. Of course, I’ll put up more and more dishes to share with the internet world too!

At Locate Us section, complete with our address, phone number & email address so that you can contact us when you can’t find us. Thanks to Google Maps too, I’ve put up the direction of our restaurant so that you can locate us easily when you’re coming from the town, your house or your hotel during your stay in Melaka. I’ve also put up our name card, so that you can download and save in your mobile phone or your iPhone, it will make you much more easy to locate us too!

When I was in Jogjakarta for my business trip, what impressed me the most was the simple lifestyle of everyone there. Comparing ourselves from the major city and them, they don’t pursue after wealthy and richest, but a simple life where they enjoy the most. I can see they really enjoy their daily life while we always rush from a place to another destination just to earn a living. Isn’t better if we just live a simple life, yet meaningful instead of everyday rush hours?

I manage to get a shot of the people lifestyle where they were playing carrom by the road side. Question is, will you/we play carrom by the roadside and tourist will actually looking at you when you’re playing? I even witnessed with my own eyes that they were sleeping by the roadside or corridor; is not one of them, but many of them… Will you do that?

This is what they call the “Undag” in Indonesia if I’m correct. In Malaysia, we call this “Kereta Kuda”. Well, I think they name it quite nice and advanced comparing Kereta Kuda in Malaysia :D

Of course, one of the main transportation is the trishaw or in Bahasa we call it “beca”. I had this trishaw on every nights with my colleagues, and we will be brought to many streets and places. It was during the fasting month that time, thus we can’t see any interesting stuff, and they closed their shops/doors very early. If you have the chance to be there, make sure you take it. I’m sure you’ll love it. I paid for a ride at RM10 only and I was up there for nearly 45min :D
