TaChi Nyonya House

December 2, 2008

I visited my friend’s new opening restaurant few months back, and it was a beautiful restaurant with
unique design. It was actually a Baba Nyonya House that serves many Nyonya food during lunch hour and dinner time.

I don’t have the opportunity to try it out during my visits there as it was just open unofficially for few days only.

When I reached there, the boss of TaChi Nyonya House, which is my long time friend, invited me in to get my seat. As usual, I just simply get a seat and just sit down like we always do, but he asked me go to the other place to have my seat instead.

I was so curious, why not sit at my origin place, instead asked me to sit at another place? According to him, the place that he recommended is a place of Feng Sui. Then later on he showed me the reasons.

He said “I’m facing the hill of Bukit Cina”… Speechless….

I love the design of the restaurant. Full of unique feels. Most of the design are with traditional smell. As you can see, the tables & chairs are all wooden made. It costs a lot a lot..
