My Deepavali Celebration with College Mates

I had a great eve Deepavali celebreation with my college dudes. We had karaoke session till late at night. You can check out here!

On the actual Deepavali day, our friend Rayenu invited us to her house as she had a open house Deepavali party, and yes we went together.

This year was my first time attending her open house. She will do it every year.

The night began with some fire crackers ceremony. For the chinese people, lighting up fire crackers is to “buang suei”, in English means wash away all the unclean stuff :)

The fire crackers is very scary… I dare not go near it…not because I worry it will hurt me, but I worry it will hurt my Sony A200 camera.. Hahaha

Once we finished with the firecrackers ceremony, food is the next one lar. Frankly speaking, this is my first time trying original Indian food. It’s an honor to try something different in Malaysia :)
